The role
As a Vehicle Electronics Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of advancing military technology and modernising defence systems. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge electronic systems for Commercial, Defence, and Military Vehicles making a real impact on national security and innovation.
Day-to-day, you'll take ownership of designing and integrating advanced electronic systems into military and commercial vehicles, bringing innovation to life and ensuring mission-critical performance.

• Designing and developing electronic systems for a range of vehicles
• Integrating components and systems into vehicle platforms
• Preparing detailed technical documentation and specifications
• Ensuring compliance with industry and military standards
• Collaborating with Stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Vehicle Electronics Engineer:

• Strong understanding of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
• Familiarity with CAN Bus, Ethernet, and other vehicle communication protocols
• Knowledge of 230V, 24V, and 12V system design and integration
• Understanding of Military Standards (preferred)

Qualifications for the Vehicle Electronics Engineer:

• Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering discipline
• Ideally working towards professional membership with a recognised engineering institution
