We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Prepper to join our dynamic and busy Bodyshop team in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in vehicle preparation who is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly preparing vehicles in accordance with detailed job instructions. This includes inspecting vehicles, masking, sanding, priming, and ensuring all surfaces are properly prepped for painting or repairs. You will utilize a variety of tools and equipment, following established procedures to ensure each vehicle is prepared to the highest standards. Attention to detail is crucial to identify any issues early and ensure a flawless finish.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are key. You should have a proactive, hands-on attitude and be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A data-driven approach to work is essential, with a focus on identifying ways to reduce operating costs while increasing productivity and quality.
Qualifications and skills required:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Prepper or in a similar role within a Bodyshop environment
Strong understanding of vehicle preparation processes and techniques
Excellent attention to detail and precision
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
