Volunteer Football Coach - Lillington Juniors Football Club

Our friendly and inclusive grassroots football club is looking for

enthusiastic Volunteer Coaches

to support and develop our youth teams. Whether you're a qualified coach or just starting out, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Volunteer Football Coach, you'll play a key role in delivering fun, safe, and engaging football experiences for players.

You'll be responsible for leading a

weekly training session

and managing a team during

weekend match days

. We have

opportunities available for both Saturday and Sunday morning teams

.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver weekly training sessions (weekday evenings). Manage the team on match days (Saturday or Sunday mornings). Support player development in line with FA best practices. Promote teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship on and off the pitch. Communicate regularly with players, parents, and club staff.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have some coaching experience and hold an

FA Level 1 Coaching qualification

. However, if you're passionate about football and keen to get involved, we'll

fully support your journey into coaching

, including: FA Level 1 (Introduction to Coaching Football) Safeguarding Children course First Aid training Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed individuals with good communication skills.
