Are you passionate about inclusive communities and skilled in digital storytelling? Join Special Needs Circle East Midlands as our Volunteer Social Media Manager and help us amplify our voice in support of families with children who have special educational needs (SEN).

About Us

We're a volunteer-led charity dedicated to supporting parent carers and families of SEN children across the East Midlands. Through events, resources, and peer support, we create safe, welcoming spaces where families feel seen, heard, and empowered.

What You'll Do

As our Social Media Manager, you'll help us connect with our community online by:

Creating and scheduling engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) Promoting events, wellbeing sessions, and volunteer opportunities Sharing stories that reflect our values of compassion, inclusion, and empowerment Responding to messages and comments to foster connection Tracking engagement and suggesting ways to grow our reach
What You Bring

A creative eye and clear communication style Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools Passion for community support and inclusion Ability to work independently and collaboratively Bonus: experience with Canva or basic design tools
