Role Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Professional Services (PS), reporting into our Chief Services Officer, who will take overall responsibility for all our software services PS teams based predominantly in the UK and Ireland, with small teams in North America, Australia and India.
The role holder will be an experienced and motivational leader, able to thrive in a high-intensity and high-demand environment, whilst remaining focused on delivering to agreed objectives and defined KPIs.


The role requires a combined mix of operational rigor and strategic transformation experience, as we accelerate the move to SAAS and advisory services whilst maintaining a high-performing Services Team operating across a wide breadth of product-lines across multiple verticals.
In turn, you will be responsible for facilitating the development of product and consulting skills across the unit, with a team of PS Directors and resource management to deliver continuous improvement, working with the Account Managers to ensure that we have the right demand for our teams, and execute on the revenue and associated targets for the unit. What You Will Do:

  • Commercial, Customer and People accountability for the unit
  • Own and manage the PS P&L in in line with agreed targets
  • Actively engage with our Commercial Units teams to prioritise and target growth opportunities across our existing customers and prospects.
  • Work closely with product and engineering units and provide people leadership to drive the mindset shift from implementation services to advisory services with rapid service commencement, personalisation of services through configuration and tighter integrated solutions.
  • Accountable for Quality and Accuracy of all engagements, driving a customer-centric approach through our teams
  • Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the business
  • Ensure the Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction are at the forefront of every engagement
  • Executive Project and Customer Sponsorship
  • Collaborate with our product aligned teams to develop new service offerings that are tailored to industry specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with VP of Customer Experience to develop complementary services engagements that drive adoption and customer value.
  • Develop advisory and consulting services to deliver high quality outcomes.
What You Will Have:
  • Services Experience - Leader in a Professional Services environment, in the Technology or Software sector.
  • Strong understanding and experience of services within a SAAS setting with awareness of SAAS trends, industry standards, and best practices.
  • People first \xe2\x80\x93 creating high-performance teams with psychological safety to deliver innovative services at pace.
  • Customer Focus - Obsessed about customer success through delivery excellence and continuous improvement
  • Integrity - Build trust by being transparent, open-minded, goal-orientated and collaborative
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how to balance competing business requirements (revenue growth vs cost control and profitability)
  • Experienced in driving positive change for employees, customers and the business.
  • Scale - Experienced in managing remote teams of Services professionals of approx. 300 heads or more
  • Resilience - Drive results even in the face of adversity, break down siloes and overcome obstacles
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive and board audiences.
  • Ideally experience of implementing and executing using Kantata PSA (formerly known as Kimble)
