Stitch & Weave is seeking a Waiter / Server for this bar and restaurant in Ebrington Sqaure. Stitch & Weave is the closest F&B outlet just before the Peace Bridge.

This is an all-day food and beverage operation from Wednesday to Sunday.

The style of food would be classified as Bistro/Brasserie style cuisine with a high quality beverage and cocktail offering. The events market will also form part of the business.

The Waiter / Server will have strong hands on food service and customer focused experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Effective food service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service Preparation of restaurant for lunch and dinner service as per outlined departmental standards Knowledge of food, food dishes and presentation of the dishes Adhere to outlined departmental food & drink service standards during service Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all food served and how various dishes are prepared and presented Carry out cleaning schedules at end of restaurant service Handle any guest enquiries and complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and to ensure manager is made aware of any complaints Wear clean suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming Ensure the highest standards of service are given at all times Maximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling and high customer service standards To keep staff / work areas tidy, safe and report any hazard, accident or loss or damage to management and to observe all requirements under current health & safety regulations Other duties as requested by management.

Prerequisites for this position include

Previous restaurant or food service experience desirable Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work Excellent interpersonal skills Be fluent in both written and spoken English Ability to work on your own initiative Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strives for perfection while executing excellence
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
