Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, using the restaurant's ordering system. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests in their choices. Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a genuine desire to help others. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards in the restaurant environment. Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated during quieter periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
