Overview

An exciting opportunity for a committed and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or RNLD to lead a specialist CAMHS inpatient ward.

Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, This is a private independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems. The highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and therapists.

The hospital offers calming and recovery-focused residential treatment for up to 60 service users and day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.

We provide expert treatment for the following services:

Eating disorders Child and Adolescent Mental Health Addiction services
Our highly experienced multidisciplinary team delivers personalised treatment programmes alongside the use of a wide range of therapies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate clinical care on the ward Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures Support and develop junior staff through training, supervision, and appraisals Participate in the on-call manager rota Promote high standards of care, documentation, and patient safety Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide family-focused care

Requirements

NMC-registered RMN/RNLD with at least 3 years' senior nurse experience Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Experience in CAMHS or inpatient mental health settings Ability to manage change and motivate teams Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act and clinical governance Compassionate, resilient, and focused on recovery-based care This is a fantastic role for a forward-thinking, hands-on leader with a passion for improving young people's mental health services
