Primary Purpose of Position:



This role is ideal for an adaptive, highly organised individual with a hands-on, 'can do' attitude to manage MYKITCO's eCommerce warehouse operations. While a management position, this role requires significant involvement in daily warehouse tasks. You will also be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust warehouse policies and procedures, optimising stock management, accuracy, and efficiency across the company.

Activities:



Enhanced Stock Management:

Regular and meticulous stock takes, forecasting, ordering, and stringent stock control.

Warehouse Maintenance:

Ensure warehouse and stock rooms are correctly organised, mapped/labelled, stored, replenished and this is regularly monitored and updated accordingly.

Policy Development:

Write, update, enforce, and monitor warehouse policies and procedures.

Shipping Optimisation:

Monitor and improve shipping packaging and shipping rates, exploring new competitive options for domestic and international markets.

Health & Safety:

Oversee and maintain all on-site compliance including risk assessments, health and safety policies (BrightHR/BrightSafe), PAT testing, fire safety, and building maintenance.

Goods Management: Oversee incoming and outgoing goods efficiently.

Loading and Unloading: Safely manage loading/unloading of deliveries and containers.

Order Processing: Accurate picking and packing of D2C and B2B orders.

Order Despatch: Efficient shipping via designated platforms (e.g., Royal Mail Click & Drop, My DHL+).

Documentation: Accurate creation and management of packing lists and commercial invoices.

System Updates: Maintain accurate website, stock, and ordering systems.

Communication: Liaise professionally with customers, retailers, suppliers, and transport companies.

Efficiency Optimisation: Continuously monitor, improve, and implement warehouse processes.

Team Supervision: Lead and help train warehouse staff, fostering growth and improving service quality.

Timely and accurate order processing and dispatch.

Excellence in stock accuracy, forecasting, and minimised stock loss.

Effective prioritisation, multi-tasking, and clear communication.

High standard warehouse maintenance and presentation.

Continuous improvement in policies, procedures, and efficiency.

Maintenance of Health & Safety compliance.

Qualification Requirements:



Critical

Previous e-commerce warehouse experience at a managerial level

Valid drivers' license

Forklift truck license / ability to operate forklift effectively

Desirable

Qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or E-Commerce.

Experience & Key Skills:



Critical

3+ years managing warehouse operations, preferably within an e-commerce business.

Proficiency with inventory management software and dispatch platforms (e.g., Royal Mail Click & Drop, UPS, DHL+).

Excellent communication skills to professionally liaise with internal teams and external partners.

Strong organisational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail in stock management and warehouse presentation.

Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Experience managing Health & Safety compliance, risk assessments, and facilities management.

Dedication to the job role with excellent time management & organisation.

A team member with strong work ethics, flexible in approach and supportive of others

Proven problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Forklift licence and operational experience.

Desirable

Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.

Experience using automated pick and pack solutions (iPacky).

Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS) or ERP systems beneficial.

Experience with inventory forecasting tools advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
