Warehouse Manager - Aluminium Pressed Metal Manufacturing
Location:
Aston, BirminghamWe are looking for an experienced
Warehouse Manager
to lead our warehouse operations within a leading aluminium pressed metal manufacturer. You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw aluminium and finished goods, managing a warehouse team, and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all processes.Key Responsibilities:
Manage warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics. Lead, motivate and develop warehouse staff to achieve productivity and safety targets. Liaise with production and procurement team. Oversee dispatch and transport scheduling to meet customer deadlines. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with HSE standards.
About You:
Proven warehouse management experience in a manufacturing environment (metals industry advantageous). Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse procedures. Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. Forklift license and experience handling heavy materials
