Summary

Role as Warehouse Operations Manager is vital in ensuring the efficient management of our warehouse activities at our GB location. Based in Chesterfield, you will oversee daily operations to support our mission of delivering high-quality products to our clients while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all warehouse and operations activities to ensure smooth sales order processing achieving OTIF to exceed customer expectations Manage inventory control, shipping, and receiving processes. Supervise team of 11 warehouse staff, providing training and development. Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations & risk assessments. Work with Supply chain partners to maintain correct inventory levels Manage and co-ordinate own delivery vehicles including 2 x 18t HGV rigid and 2 x transit vehciles and 3PL logistics partners to achieve excellent performance and customer experience. Utilise warehouse management systems to track 500 product lines inventory and operations ensuring accurate stock levels Identify and implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency. Monitor budget performance related to warehouse activities. Proactive management of maintenance routines for 30,000 Sqft warehouse facilities and storgage areas Proactive management of maintenance of business plant & machinery. Optimise & maximise productivity to maximse business outputs.

Qualifications / Experience

Proven experience in supervising warehouse operations. Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse management systems. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to implement process improvements. Experience with ERP systems such as Brightpearl or similar platforms is preferred. Forklift certification is essential. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets Experience with implements and managing ISO standards Experience managing transport of goods via HGV
