Warehouse Operations Manager (Logistics & Stock)



Salary:

48,000-52,000 (DOE)

Hours:

08:00-16:30 Monday-Friday, with some weekends and longer hours during peak periods

Site Manager

Ready to take full ownership of a busy warehouse operation and lead from the front? We're looking for a

hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager

to drive day-to-day performance across logistics, stock control and operational delivery -- keeping quality high, customers happy, and the site running safely and efficiently.

This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys pace, people leadership, and getting results through strong planning and standards.

What you'll be doing



You'll oversee the daily running of warehouse operations, ensuring schedules, manpower and processes are aligned to deliver on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead a diverse operation with a broad product range (from standard, short lead-time work through to technically complex products) Own logistics operations (with exposure to additional areas over time) Plan and schedule workload and labour to hit targets in a cost-effective way Manage

stock control

and ensure inventory accuracy Deliver

customer requirements

and on-time delivery within budgeted costs Build capability to flex capacity in line with market demand Drive improvements in

Health, Safety and Environmental

performance (lead by example) Work with Area Managers and Supervisors to keep areas running efficiently and hitting targets Produce reports and operational data for the Site Manager Coordinate colleague performance reviews with HR Conduct timely H&S inspections and report findings as needed Ensure training, development and succession plans are in place and actioned Support recruitment and interviews, ensuring documentation compliance
What we're looking for

Strong warehouse experience

(minimum 3 years) -- hands-on and leadership level Confident leader who can communicate clearly, motivate teams, and set high standards A self-starter: able to work independently and deliver results through others Strong Health & Safety knowledge (

NEBOSH preferred

) Good IT skills (Windows packages)

Advanced English
