Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role the Warehouse Operations Manager is tasked with managing to day to day operations of the warehouse and the team at our Integraflex business.
Responsibilities
Overseeing Daily Operations
Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
Manage inventory, track stock levels, and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Team Supervision and Training
Lead, motivate, and manage warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and quality standards.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and system usage.
Ensure staff follows company guidelines and maintains a safe work environment.
Inventory Management
Keep track of inventory levels, perform regular stock checks, and report discrepancies.
Implement and maintain an effective stock control system.
Ensure goods are stored properly and are accessible when needed.
Logistics and Order Fulfilment
Coordinate logistics to ensure that orders are shipped in a timely manner.
Work with other departments to ensure that customer orders are prioritized and fulfilled.
Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
Safety and Compliance
Ensure the warehouse complies with health and safety regulations.
Conduct safety audits and implement procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
Ensure the warehouse is well-maintained and free from hazards.
Reporting and Budget Management
Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
Manage warehouse budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with management to set goals and performance targets.
Site contract/Project management
Ensure contractors on site are working within their RAMS.
Issue work permits to contractors when needed.
Manage contractors on site when working for CH&C.
MHE Training
Ensure All employees are up to date with all training
Carry out training courses for novice and refreshers
Qualifications

IOSH Safety certificate

Stakeholder engagement
Possesses full understanding of Health and Safety legislation relating to warehouse operations (Risk Assessments, Accident/Near Miss Investigation, COSHH and RIDDOR and some or full knowledge of HACCP principles).

Good knowledge of Health & Safety
Working Hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm with unpaid lunch break of 1 hour
