Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver

Location: Rayleigh Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm, Alternate Saturdays 7:30 - 12pm Salary: 30,500
Connect Plumbing is a leading independent plumbing and heating merchant, dedicated to providing outstanding service to trade and retail customers. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our friendly team.

The Role

This is a varied position combining warehouse and delivery duties. You'll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly, ensuring customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking, packing, and loading customer orders Checking goods in and out Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse environment Assisting customers and colleagues with product queries Carrying out local deliveries in company vehicles when required Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual, and has a strong work ethic A good team player with excellent communication skills Able to work efficiently under pressure Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Holds a full UK driving licence (essential)
Experience in a warehouse or plumbing merchant environment is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
