Warehouse Operator

As a Warehouse Operator at The Turmeric Co, your primary purpose will be assisting the Warehouse Lead Operator raw materials receipt, transfer to storage and decanting for production. To conduct the required intake checks and keep records. To assist with loading and off-loading of semi- and finished products. To maintain a clean and organised workspace

Key responsibilities

Managing and organising bottled stock (semi- and finished products) within the refrigerated units on site. Receive, inspect, and decant incoming raw materials and finished products. Collaborate with the Warehouse team to verify the accuracy and integrity of received goods. Assist in labelling and documenting incoming stock accurately. Work with the Warehouse team to complete goods in reports accurately and promptly. Supporting with stock control and ensuring stock remains in good condition. Clean as you go and maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping at all times. Report all non-conformities to the Warehouse Supervisor including, but not limited to health & safety, product food safety, authenticity, legality, and quality. To identify areas for improvement and share these with the team.

Experience / Skills

An accredited and valid Reach Truck Certificate or A5 Pedestrian Pallet Stacker Training is desirable. A good standard of both written and spoken English. Good numeracy skills. Ability to work well in small teams and communicate effectively. Proactive approach to working with a can-do attitude. Physically fit due to manual handling requirements associated with the role. Skilled at following instructions. Proactively keen to assume responsibility for tasks to be completed. Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
