In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly--managing stock, supporting deliveries, and ensuring that equipment and materials reach our projects on time and in perfect condition. Your work will be essential to the success of our installation and service teams, helping deliver high-quality solutions to clients across the region.
About the Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations--from stock management and order fulfilment to safety checks and local deliveries. This is a varied role that requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and properly store incoming goods
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with accuracy
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely
Test electrical equipment to ensure it meets safety and compliance standards
Identify, document, and report faulty or non-compliant items
Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks - if certified)
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Adhere to all company health & safety policies and procedures
Deliver goods to client sites across Northern Ireland, as required
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Valid UK driving licence
Basic IT skills, with the ability to use inventory management systems
Flexibility to work between two warehouse locations
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift/carry heavy items
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous warehouse, logistics, or stock control experience
Experience testing or working with electrical equipment
Understanding of basic electrical safety practices
Forklift licence or certification
