Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and safekeeping of goods in the store including checking the goods for damage and storing it appropriately. They will be responsible for all paperwork relating to the receiving and dispatching of goods.

Duties:

- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and orders

- Performing manageable lifting tasks to load and unload goods

- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently

- Manage shipping and receiving processes accurately

- Handle materials with care to prevent damage

- Conduct basic maths calculations for inventory checks

- Assist in equipment repair and maintenance as required

Requirements:

- Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous

- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems

- Mechanical knowledge for operating machinery and equipment

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks

- Valid forklift certification is desirable

- Strong skills in materials handling and organisation

- Basic maths skills for inventory management
