Comfort Furniture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a
Website & Customer Support Assistant
. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, basic technical ability, and an interest in e-commerce, customer service, and online business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update website content, including product listings, images, pricing, and descriptions
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and messaging platforms
Form and manage email correspondence with potential B2B clients
Perform simple documentation and record-keeping tasks to ensure clear tracking of work
Assist with sales-related activities aimed at increasing online performance and conversions
Provide weekly performance reports to management
Occasionally attend the showroom to assist with tasks such as gathering product information or assisting with stock updates
Candidate Requirements:
Competent using a computer and confident navigating website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify - training can be provided)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks independently
A professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and business partners
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems or processes
Interest in e-commerce, online retail, or digital customer service is advantageous
