Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa is one of the Lake District's most iconic country house hotels, set on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake and surrounded by 400 acres of parkland and woodland. A proud member of Pride of Britain Hotels, we are known for delivering warm, genuine hospitality in an exceptional setting.

We are now looking for a Wedding Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis. Our hotel hosts weddings throughout the year, from small private ceremonies to larger celebrations. This role is all about making the planning process smooth and enjoyable, and ensuring each couple feels supported and reassured from start to finish.

About the Role

You will be the main point of contact for the couple, from initial enquiry through to the big day itself. That includes handling bookings, showing guests around our facilities, preparing documents, confirming details with suppliers, and working closely with the events and operations teams to bring everything together.

We're looking for someone who is calm, organised and confident. You'll need to juggle multiple bookings at different stages and build strong relationships with couples, always presenting the hotel with warmth and professionalism.

This is a part time position and flexibility is essential. Evening and weekend availability is required throughout the year depending on appointments and event schedules.

Previous experience in weddings or events, preferably in a hotel or venue setting Clear communication and excellent organisational skills A professional manner and polished personal presentation Comfortable using booking systems and Microsoft Office Confident working with guests, suppliers and internal teams A genuine interest in hospitality and creating special experiences Someone who takes pride in their work and represents the hotel to a high standard
