Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management. Help maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are clean and functioning properly. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and cleaning up after service.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A team player who can communicate well with colleagues and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere.
