Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers is seeking an experienced and dedicated Will Writer to join our respected Private Client Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for client service and a strong grounding in wills and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities:




Draft a variety of wills tailored to clients' individual circumstances, including complex and high-net-worth arrangements. Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs). Provide clear and compassionate advice to clients on estate planning and succession matters. Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other professionals (e.g., financial advisers, accountants) to ensure seamless client service. Maintain accurate records and case notes in accordance with firm protocols and compliance standards. Assist with trust documents and simple estate planning vehicles as required. Support colleagues in the wider Private Client department with related matters.

Requirements:




Proven experience in drafting wills and LPAs, ideally gained within a Private Client department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-centred approach. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle a busy and varied caseload. A collaborative and supportive attitude, aligned with the firm's values.
