We are family run business seeking a skilled and dedicated Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in installations of both Upvc and Aluminium products, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves the installation of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit.
Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements.
Conduct necessary repairs or adjustments during the installation process.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project completion.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries professionally.
Requirements
Proven experience in window/door installation or similar construction roles.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Good physical fitness as the role may require lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
A valid clean driving licence.
