We are seeking a skilled and reliable Timber Window Installer to join our team.

Driving licence is a must.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong ability to work efficiently throughout the entire process of installations of many different timber box sash windows, casements, French doors, front doors and other joinery. Applicants with experience in related trades such as carpentry, or masonry will be highly valued. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

Measure and prepare window openings to ensure proper fit and function Install new windows using appropriate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques Remove old or damaged windows safely and efficiently Seal and insulate windows to prevent drafts and water ingress Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and schematics Assist with related tasks such as plastering, construction painting, or masonry work as required Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to client specifications

Experience

Proven experience in window installation or related construction trades such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or carpentry Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Knowledge of schematics, construction drawings, and technical specifications Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices Experience working with masonry or plastering is advantageous but not essential Ability to read technical diagrams and follow detailed instructions Prior experience in working on residential or commercial projects is preferred
