Role Overview
We're seeking a
skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer
who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism, quality, and reliability.
You'll be responsible for fitting windows and doors to a high standard, ensuring they are secure, sealed, and finished correctly. The role involves both residential and occasional commercial projects and requires someone who can work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Install windows and doors according to specifications and drawings
Ensure correct sealing and insulation to improve energy efficiency
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete installations efficiently
Carry out adjustments, finishing work, and occasional repairs
Fabricate or trim window frames as needed, ensuring high-quality results
Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
Work alongside other trades such as carpenters and electricians when needed
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in window and door installation (uPVC, aluminium and timber)
Comfortable reading and working from technical drawings and schematics
Skilled in the use of tools and equipment needed for installation
Carpentry, construction or masonry experience is a bonus
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve on site
Full UK driving licence required
CSCS card and NVQ qualifications are a plus, but not essential
