Tyler Hardwoods is a well established high end hardwood specialist that offers machining services to supply a wide range of bespoke manufactured products, including planed square edge timber, architectural mouldings, furniture components, worktops, flooring and cladding.

We have expanded our workshop capacity and have an excellent opportunity for a Wood Machinist, with an interest in working with timber or skills developed either by qualification or previous work.

The Wood Machinist role is focused on efficiently processing timber to manufacture furniture components and construction products to a high standard with accuracy and appropriate quality control. It will also involve working as part of the team to support the organisation of a smooth workflow through our workshops.

Ideally you will have the ability to safely operate spindle moulders, planer moulders, bandsaws, ripsaws and sanders, potentially with experience of the set up of these and similar machines. Our workshop facilities also include cutter grinding equipment and full training will be provided.

We are based in a rural location south of Hungerford so your own transport is essential. This is a permanent position with scope for flexibility and progression in a successful and growing business. The starting pay for this role is dependent on experience, with 20 days holiday per year plus public holidays. You will also be eligible for a production bonus after the successful completion of a probationary period.
