Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wordpress & Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with Wordpress, and Shopify and will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality websites. You will work closely with designers and other developers to ensure that our projects meet client specifications and industry standards.

Duties

Develop, customise, and maintain Wordpress/Shopify websites to meet client requirements. Collaborate with designers to implement responsive designs using frameworks such as Bootstrap. Write clean, efficient code using PHP, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Integrate APIs and third-party services into Wordpress/Shopify applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance. Conduct testing and debugging of websites throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Maintain documentation for code, processes, and project specifications. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to web development.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PHP, jQuery, and SQL; experience with SQLite or PostgreSQL is a plus. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular. Strong understanding of the platforms and its ecosystem. Experience in developing custom themes and plugins for Wordpress/Shopify. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Pay: 44,420.00-71,517.46 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
