About Our Programmes

Our academies run for 13 to 18 weeks and support young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

Alongside skills training and confidence building, each young person is offered work placements that match their career interests and aspirations.

Person Specification

We're looking for a proactive and driven Work Placement Co-ordinator to help young people in our Transferable Skills Academies gain meaningful, real-world experience with local employers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Building strong links with local employers across construction, hospitality, customer service, and health & social care sectors Sourcing, arranging, and managing work placements for academy participants Matching young people with the right placement based on their skills, goals, and personal development needs Providing on-placement support to both young people and employers- Working closely with the academy trainers to ensure a joined up, person-centred approach Working to timelines to ensure placements are secured and started in line with programme delivery

You'll thrive in this role if you are:

A confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills Passionate about helping young people move into employment Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple partnerships and placements at once Experienced in employer engagement, recruitment, training, or youth work- Solution-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude

Rate of pay will depend on experience and track record

Hours, Start date, other criteria

Flexible working hrs Start Date August 2025 Must have a UK Driving Licence and Access to a car Appointment is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.
