You will be responsible for supervising site teams, coordinating trades, and ensuring works are completed to programme, quality, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Work on the tools while overseeing daily site operations
Supervise and coordinate carpenters and other trades on site
Plan and allocate daily tasks to site operatives
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor progress and report on programme and site issues
Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company procedures
Essential Experience & Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in carpentry
(1st and 2nd fix)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Foreman / Supervisor / Site Manager role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Proven ability to manage small-medium site teams
Good understanding of health & safety requirements
Reliable, organised, and proactive approach
Full UK driving licence
CIS Verified.
Desirable (but not essential)
SSSTS or SMSTS
First Aid at Work
CSCS (Skilled Worker or Supervisor)
Experience on residential or commercial projects
