Job Description

Josh Gosling Carpentry & Construction is an independent building contractor and carpentry business based in Callington in Cornwall.

We have several varied projects coming up and we are looking for a Working Site Foreperson to join our talented team.

Pay rate will be dependent on experience.

We offer an immediate start following your successful interview.

Responsibilities:



Supervising and managing a team of trades and labour on-site. Undertaking hands-on work as required. Coordinating daily tasks and ensuring work is carried out to a high standard. Completing and managing site paperwork, including daily reports, and health & safety documentation. Communicating regularly with the Site Manager to maintain smooth project progression. Working with other key stakeholders including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety officers and the client to ensure a clear understanding of all requirements.

Requirements:



Previous experience in a similar hands-on foreman role. Knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures. Good people management skills. Excellent communication skills. Must have a full UK driving license and own transport.

Desirable:



Qualified first aider
