Job Description


The main activities of the Workplace Assistant is to support the Workplace Manager in the operational delivery of workplace management, taking ownership and accountability of all soft services within a designated office space and supporting office, agile and homeworkers.

The ongoing role will involve focusing on a proactive approach to providing high quality support services to internal and external clients and customers, in the provision of an appropriate and professional service within agreed service levels.

This is an exciting role within an adapting work environment meeting the requirements of the business with a key focus on service delivery. It will be both challenging and rewarding and will allow the role holder to exercise initiative and to gain and develop a broad variety of different skills. You will be responsible for a culture of continuous improvement and to encourage a value added service provision through innovation and best practice.

Skills and Experience required

It is essential that the post holder has a good level of workplace facilities experience

A high level of computer literacy is essential

First Aid and Fire Marshall qualifications are desirable but not essential and can be obtained during first 6 months in role

Proven experience of building and maintaining good relationships with internal customers

This is a very busy position and to be successful you need to be highly organised, have a strong presence and be able to remain calm and perform well under pressure.

Takes a structured approach, prioritises, manages own time, works to high quality standards.

Works effectively within a team and gains trust and respect within the team by sharing in success and learning together.

Takes action to avoid problems or resolves with solutions that best fit the customer and firm.

Good communication skills both verbal and written are essential for this role.

Must be able to demonstrate a flexible and hands on approach to the duties and tasks as outlined together with with a \'can do\' attitude.
