We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Workshop Associate to join our team in the production of sliding wardrobe doors. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, assembly, and materials handling within a workshop environment. This role involves working with hand tools, operating machinery, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every unit produced.
Responsibilities:
Assemble sliding wardrobe doors using workshop tools and machinery
Operate and maintain fabrication equipment safely and effectively
Perform cutting, drilling, and finishing tasks using hand and power tools
Ensure accurate measurements and alignment of components during assembly
Handle and organise materials within the workshop and storage areas
Assist with tooling setup and routine maintenance of workshop equipment
Maintain clean and safe working conditions at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment preferred
Strong hands-on skills in assembly and use of workshop tools
Comfortable working with wood, metal, glass, or similar materials
Good understanding of safe working practices
Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
