Jigsaw Fitness designs and manufactures innovative fitness equipment from our Lancashire HQ. Our customers include some of the UK's leading gym equipment brands and health club chains.

We are looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our team in a supporting role with opportunity to learn and grow within the business. This team member will play an important role in our manufacturing workshop providing support to our welding and fabrication operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Materials Handling; transporting raw materials to workstations, preparing parts ready to move through production, loading/unloading materials from delivery vehicles, storing materials and tools effectively and organising/labelling parts and finished goods. Workshop Maintenance & Cleanliness; Keeping the workshop area clean and free from hazards. Maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good condition. Assisting Welders & Fabricators in the production of products by holding, positioning or clamping materials, helping to setup tools/machinery and supporting in measuring cutting/grinding materials when required. Ensuring Safety Compliance when working with hazardous materials and tools, all while wearing the correct PPE and following any safety instruction. Assist with Basic Repairs & Maintenance of welding tools/equipment General workshop support tasks such as organising and counting stock or assisting in fabrication as required.
