We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. This role involves supporting our operations through assembly, maintenance, and customer service, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties
Assemble components and products according to specifications and schematics.
Perform welding tasks as required for assembly and repair.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain the workshop and organise materials as required for ease of workshop use
Conduct equipment repair and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and products safely.
Operate power tools and hand tools effectively, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Experience in assembly (no welding required)
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to learn new skills.
