About the role
The Workshop Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the Workshop, Service & Parts depts. The role requires a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to manage a team & problem solve in a fast paced environment. This is a very varied hands on role that will involve day to day customer interactions, prioritising the daily work, managing a team and lots more. No 2 days are the same which is great for anyone with the right attitude and work ethic!
Duties:
Manage, plan & prioritise the daily work schedule for the Workshop/Service dept to optimise efficiency & productivity.
Coordinate internal communications between Workshop/Service & Parts & Sales & Admin departments to ensure smooth day to day activities.
Manage parts stock levels, records & parts & bikes storage areas.
Streamline processes to reduce waste, maximise productivity and efficiency.
Maintain safe working practices to ensure compliance with the working rules and standards of the business & H&S requirements.
Deal with escalated service/workshop complaints & monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
Manage the team members & carry out necessary HR duties etc.
Provide required reports/KPI's to senior management or directors.

Skills & Requirements:
Excellent organisational, time management and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good initiative & problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Proactive approach and ability to make quick decisions .
Excellent customer service skills
Full UK driving licence and motorcycle/motor industry knowledge an advantage.
Hours:
37hrs per week (Mon-Fri, Sat if required ). Hours are Mon-Thur- 9-5.30, Fri & Sat 9-5 with an hour for lunch.
