Job description
Full Time / 37 Hours Per Week / Permanent

Join us to work in a dynamic workspace and deliver great customer service.

This is a unique opportunity to use your customer service skills in an environment where no two days are the same. We run buildings which have varied sized offices which are let to exciting small businesses. Our friendly team provides outstanding service and creates a supportive environment for our customers which enables them to focus on their businesses.

Dock is a vibrant workspace building for tech businesses based within Space park Leicester. We have over 110 offices/commercial spaces across 5 buildings, these are individually leased to over 50 innovative businesses who are then our customers. We also have a busy meeting room business.

Gresham Works is an exciting workspace in the centre of Leicester where there are a combination of offices, co-working spaces, and meeting rooms. Our customers who are based here are mostly in the professional services sector.

Working under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you'll support the general admin and reception of the building as well as oversee the meeting room facilities, ensuring service standards are always maintained. You will either work at Dock, Gresham Works or sometimes between both.

The working hours will be between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis. Occasionally you may be required to work out of normal office hours.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same in this role, so you'll need to be adaptable and proactive. Based at the reception/front of house, you will welcome tenants and visitors, and manage incoming telephone and email enquiries. You'll be responsible for setting up meeting rooms with IT equipment and refreshments, restocking tenants' kitchens, and maintaining the coffee machine.

Additional duties include ordering stock, handling incoming post and deliveries, and processing invoices and general financial reports. Occasionally, you may assist with remedial cleaning and support the wider team with various tasks as required.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills by rotating through specialist areas such as planning and running tenant and external events, managing social media updates, financial administration, and project-specific tasks. This variety ensures a dynamic role with ongoing learning, supported by a collaborative team.

What you'll need

Passionate about working in a front of house role providing excellent customer service, you'll have good IT skills to be able to use our systems effectively. With strong communication skills and the ability to relate to people, you'll deliver the reception and information services confidently ensuring the needs of the tenants and customers are met. Your attention to detail will be second to none and with a proactive approach you'll provide creative solutions to how the service could be improved. With good organisation skills, the ability to work under pressure and a flexible approach, you'll be able to prioritise tasks.

What we can offer you

As well as the satisfaction of helping to improve thousands of lives across Leicester, you can look forward to a work environment that encourages a healthy work/life balance. You'll enjoy generous annual leave, and membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. We'll also give you the chance to develop your skills and expertise with a variety of training and development opportunities. In addition, you can choose from several flexible benefits, including discounts on city buses and trains. For an illustrative value of your benefits package, take a look at our benefits calculator.

Join us
