Happy Minds are looking for a Wrap Around Club Manager to set up and run our After School Provision at St Maria Goretti Primary School.
You will be responsible for the management and administration of the Wrap Around Care and lead an effective childcare provision which provides safe, high-quality care and play opportunities.
The responsibilities of the role 'Wrap Around Club Manager' include but are not limited to the following:
Day-to-day club management
? Be responsible for the management and administration of the Wrap Around Care and lead an effective childcare provision which provides safe, high-quality care and play opportunities.
? Ensure that parents, carers and other visitors are made to feel welcome on visiting the facility and that they receive appropriate information and advice
? Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater for a range of interests and age groups.
? Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending the club
? Manage and lead a small team of staff, ensuring high-quality care and play opportunities
? Maintain health and safety standards and safeguarding procedures at all times.
? Be designated safeguarding lead for the setting
Planning & Preparation
? Create activity plans and themed events for each half term
? Liaise with SLT about marketing support to promote your plan and activities
? Ensure food and drinks are purchased for the club
? Manage a resources budget
? Liaise with SLT about shopping receipts and budgets
Additional
? Make suggestions around any additional resources, activities or initiatives that would make the club stronger
? Be available to attend school intake sessions to promote the club
? Managing the club through any Ofsted inspections with support from SLT
? Be available to attend half termly 1-1 meetings with SLT
The position of Wrap Around Club Manager is incredibly rewarding, as you are providing a service which is needed by parents and school, whilst caring for and engaging their pupils in a range of fun, engaging activities each day.
You will receive the full and ongoing support of the SLT to give you the best possible chance of running an inclusive and successful club.
Hours - 16 hours per week (term-time only or all year-round available).
Core hours: 3:00 - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
