JOB PURPOSE



Carry out a range of HR related activities including HR administration and documentation, recruitment, HR systems and procedures, payroll, training and advice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Administration of the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit ensuring all aspects of the club's HR operations are compliant.

Provide HR advice and assistance to all employees and line managers.

Plan and deliver training, including new staff inductions and HR masterclasses for team leaders.

Work closely with the Safeguarding team to ensure all members of staff have completed their DBS checks.

Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.

Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the club.

Data collection.

Work with the Head of HR to shape the HR function at Wrexham AFC.

Work with the Head of HR with the implementation of the People Strategy.

Recruitment



Lead and manage the full recruitment process from interview to onboarding.

Manage the recruitment inbox/portal for all positions.

Manage the application process - check application forms, shortlist, interview, select successful candidate/s.

Assist the hiring manager in the production of job descriptions and identifying key competencies for each role.

Liaise with agencies and organise the advertising of roles internally and externally as appropriate.

Conduct relevant employment checks on all hired employees and prepare job offers to the successful candidates.

Staff are required to comply with all aspects of the Club Safeguarding Policies and arrangements and to take personal responsibility and care to enable strong safeguarding practices to be embedded in the Club.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES



Take responsibility and care for the health and safety of yourself and other employees and members of the public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.

To comply with all aspects of the Club's Health & Safety Policy and arrangements, to enable the company to perform its civil and statutory obligations in relation to Health & Safety.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED



CIPD qualified. Significant experience working in a similar role. Experience of working within a fast-paced environment. Experience of working within an organisation consisting of full-time, part-time and casual employees.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION - SKILLS / ABILITIES REQUIRED



Understanding and practical knowledge of employment law and employer best practice. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive 'can do' and courteous attitude. Enjoy working with people. Calm and patient. Tactful and diplomatic. Approachable. Displays no judgment when dealing with others. Respect the importance of confidentiality. Have problem solving skills to deal with disputes, grievances and employee problems. Be able to work accurately, with good attention to detail. Excellent IT skills including intermediate abilities in all MS Office programmes. Highly organised with good time management skills to be able to plan and regulate workload including the ability to prioritise demands and thrive under pressure.
