Axis Accounting is an established Accountancy practice based in the Centre of Macclesfield.

As

Accounts Manager

, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of Accounts, overseeing junior Members of staff and managing the workflow, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting, liaising with clients and assisting with their queries. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial management.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role AAT qualified or higher (ACCA desirable), Qualified by experience would also be considered Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office suite Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills and business acumen

The role is for 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Pay: 36,000.00-45,000.00 per year
