Role Overview

We are seeking a

skilled and detail-oriented Accountant

to manage the financial operations of Panerax Bars. You will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day accounting, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the business as it grows. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hospitality group at launch stage and help shape our financial systems from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Oversee cash flow, budgets, and forecasts across multiple venues. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, licensing requirements, and industry standards. Support venue managers with financial insights and reporting. Implement financial controls and processes to support scalability. Liaise with external auditors, suppliers, and stakeholders when required. Provide strategic recommendations to management on financial performance.
Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification preferred). Proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within hospitality, retail, or multi-site businesses. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial information clearly. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
