About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently but also values being part of a supportive team. You'll be confident in your technical skills and able to take ownership of compliance work from start to finish.

Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or part-qualified with strong compliance experience in practice Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax compliance requirements Comfortable managing multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency Experience with Xero and other cloud software (highly desirable) A team player who values collaboration but can also work independently Attention to detail and the ability to review your own work Confident working directly with clients

About the Role

As our Compliance Accountant, you'll be the go-to qualified professional within the practice, managing and reviewing compliance work across a diverse client base. This is a hands-on, senior role where you'll enjoy both responsibility and trust, working directly with clients and supported by a small, collaborative team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing annual statutory accounts for limited companies Managing and submitting corporation tax returns Preparing personal and partnership tax returns Supporting clients with Companies House filings and deadlines Company secretarial filings and administration Liaising with HMRC and ensuring clients are always compliant Reviewing and self-checking your own work to a high professional standard Assisting our team and providing exceptional client service

Pay: 48,000.00-52,000.00 per year
