Read Motor Group are an award-winning family-owned business representing the Hyundai, Suzuki, MG, Alfa Romeo, Jeep and Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda and Cupra brands across the six counties of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Norfolk, with the head office based in Grimsby.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Accounts Manager to join our accounts team in Grimsby. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Managing and leading the accounts team Managing debtors and creditors Payroll including BACS payments and payroll journals Completion of VAT returns Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Production of monthly management accounts Ensuring that group policies and procedures are followed Managing the month/ year end process Liaising with the wider group management and departmental managers across the group.
Our ideal applicant will be 'hands on', commercially minded and have experience of working in the motor trade. You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, accurate and have a keen eye for detail. The ability to multitask and work independently is essential for the position.
