Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering strong relationships. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software to effectively support our clients' financial needs.

Responsibilities



Manage a portfolio of client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. Utilise accounting software such as Xero to maintain accurate financial records and reports. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client concerns promptly. Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services. Prepare detailed reports on account performance, including financial metrics, forecasting and client feedback.

Experience



Proven experience in account management or a similar role within the finance or accounting sector. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. experience with budgeting and cashflow forecasting.
