We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Apprentice Accounts Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clerical skills and a strong proficiency in various office software, including Google Suite and QuickBooks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and maintaining effective communication both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
Support the entry of financial transactions and invoices into Xero accounting software

Maintain accurate financial records and support monthly tasks
Credit control - Monitor outstanding payments and help follow up with clients on overdue accounts

Help process accounts payable and receivable
*
Processing credit card expenses
*
Dealing with general accounts queries
Providing general administrative assistance to ensure smooth office operations
Ensure the office environment is well-organised and conducive to productivity.
Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and strong organisational skills
Good level of accuracy, numeracy and mathematical skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
GCSE grade 4 minimum for math's and English

PROGRESSION
Upon successful completion of the level 2 Accounts Administration Apprenticeship you will have achieved a national qualification recognised through the industry and this may lead to a full time permanent position being offered where available.
