Job Overview


We are seeking motivated and talented Architectural Technologists, Part 1/Part 2 Architects to join our busy drawing team located in our Maidstone studio. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a diverse range of projects, from residential to commercial, and to develop your design skills for your future career.

Responsibilities



Assist with all aspects of planning application packs design, from initial concepts and design feasibilities to final application drawings. Produce detailed 2D drawings, hand drawn sketches, and 3D sketch up models. Coordinate with clients, other consultants as necessary. Attend client meetings, site visits, carry out site surveys and attend/present at Council meetings. Develop design ideas and contribute to project briefs. Prepare and present design proposals. Stay updated on industry trends, building regulations, and best practices to enhance design quality.

Requirements



Part 1 qualification in Architecture. Strong design and technical skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe suite) SketchUp though can be trained as required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enthusiasm for architecture and a keen eye for detail and quality of output. .
