Drumpellier Golf Club, Coatbridge, is looking for an
Assistant Greenkeeper
to join our progressive and motivated team. As a busy and forward-thinking members' club, we continue to invest in the course--most recently withstate-of-the-art robotic mowers
to enhance quality and efficiency.We're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic greenkeeper ready for a new challenge and keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our course.
This is a full-time role working
39 hours per week
on a rota that includes weekends.Requirements & Experience
Minimum
2 years' greenkeeping experience
NVQ Level 2
(or equivalent) in Sports Turf Maintenance Confident mowing all playing surfaces to a high, presentable standard Experience in scarifying, verticutting, aeration, topdressing and divot repairs Spraying and chainsaw certificates (desirable) Knowledge of machinery preparation, maintenance and safe storage (desirable) Ability to set up the course in line with the Rules of Golf (hole changing, tee marker placement) (desirable) Stronghealth & safety
awareness Good time management and reliability Team player who can also work on their own initiative Understanding of golf and interest in playing the game Full UK driving licenceWhat We Offer
