To assist/manage the home in accordance with Pathway 360 Care's policies and procedures. Ensure staff meet required standards of support, administration, and training. Offer comprehensive service to young people, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional support and development. Provide a safe, warm, and supportive environment for residents. Maintain the development of positive supporting practice in line with the aims and objectives of Pathway 360 Care.
Client Group:
Pathway 360 Care supports young people aged 16-18 who have experienced severe early life trauma, resulting in challenging behaviours such as violence, aggression, and various forms of abuse. This experience of trauma and may also result in self-harm behaviours, substance misuse and placing themselves at risk of harm. They will be accommodated in a 16+ Supported accommodation provision.

Special Conditions:
NVQ3/Diploma 3 preferred.
Available for senior cover duties as required.
Allocated time for shift leader and management duties.
Key Responsibilities/Main Activities:
Assist the Manager in daily staff management.
Fulfil management responsibilities in the absence of the Registered Service Manager.
Undertake On Call duties with extensive knowledge around Safeguarding and practices.
Monitor staff development and training needs.
Maintain staff and client confidentiality.
Provide regular supervision for the support staff.
Ensure young people have access to relevant information upon admission.
Manage paperwork and discharges properly.
Develop individual care plans with the manager.
Monitor petty cash expenditure and building conditions.
Participate in meetings with social workers and other professionals.
Implement and monitor health and safety and equal opportunities policies.
Skills Required:
Team working, flexibility, good communication, adaptability, personal organisation, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, and budgeting skills.
Essential Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience working with children and families, preferably in supported accommodation.
Understanding of relevant legislation.
Good general education and commitment to professional development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Mature, level-headed attitude with dedication to childcare/support.
Ability to prioritise work and maintain records.
Commitment to teamwork and reliability.
