Key Responsibilities
Build supportive, trusting relationships with children and young people
Deliver consistent, trauma-informed care tailored to individual needs
Assist with therapeutic and outdoor-based activities that foster wellbeing and growth
Support daily routines and provide calm, compassionate behavioural guidance
Maintain accurate records in accordance with care regulations
Work collaboratively with the permanent team to ensure continuity and high standards of care
What We're Looking For
Experience in residential childcare or a comparable care setting
A calm, grounded approach to emotional and behavioural challenges
Sound understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic principles
Full UK driving licence
Availability to work 24.5-hour shifts (10:00am-11:00pm, followed by a sleep-in and 7:00am-10:30am)
