Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in restaurant service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing outstanding service, preparing beverages, and ensuring the bar area is well-maintained. Your ability to engage with customers and upsell menu items will be key to enhancing their overall experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring timely service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest services. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A keen interest in mixology and beverage trends is desirable.
