Bar Staff, Kitchen Porters & Runners required for busy North Cornwall Location

The Widemouth Manor team are offering an opportunity to join our existing and energetic team at our bar and restaurant with rooms, where we have a passion for serving fresh homemade food and quality drinks. The positions are open for the 2025 summer season which are ideal for youngsters looking to work flexible hours in a fun and fresh environment during the summer break. Positions may be available on a longer term basis depending on performance.

Junior Runner - Restaurant Team Bartender - Bar Team Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Team

Salary:

Competitive hourly rate plus tips

Hours:

Part-time or Full-time available (flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends)

The Roles:

We're looking for

Junior Runners, Bartenders and Kitchen Porters

to support our front-of-house and kitchen teams. These are great entry-level roles for enthusiastic and reliable people who are eager for experience in hospitality.

Runners' Key Responsibilities:

Delivering food and drinks from the kitchen/bar to tables quickly and accurately Clearing plates and glassware and resetting tables between guests Supporting the front-of-house and kitchen teams with general tasks Maintaining cleanliness of service areas and assisting with dishwashing if needed Providing friendly and helpful service with a positive attitude

Bartender Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers Keeping the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked Providing excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude Handling payments and using the till system accurately Following all licensing and health & safety guidelines

Kitchen Porter' Main Responsibilities:

Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, and areas clean, clear and sanitised Assisting with basic food prep if needed Supporting chefs and kitchen staff as required

What We're Looking For:

No experience needed - full training provided A positive attitude and strong work ethic Punctual, presentable, and reliable Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team A genuine interest in hospitality and customer service
