We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
Prepare simple food items or garnishes as required, adhering to food safety protocols
Upsell premium drinks and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest behaviour and adhering to licensing laws
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Provide excellent guest services, addressing any enquiries or concerns professionally
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable
Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with guest services and upselling techniques is advantageous
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the business needs
